Exporting Your Contacts From LinkedIn and Outlook
2Vouch has just added the ability for our referrers to import their contacts to make it quicker and easier to send invitations and referral requests. Employers can also import their contacts to ask them to make referrals for jobs they place.
The system can import contacts from Outlook, Microsoft Mail/Outlook Express, LinkedIn and a range of other systems if you export those contacts to a cvs file.
So, to make things as easy as possible, here are the simple steps you need to create a csv file of your contacts:
Saving your LinkedIn contacts to a csv file:
* Go to www.linkedin.com
* Sign in
* In the navigation bar on the left, click Contacts
* On the contacts page, down the bottom, is a link that says “Export Contacts”, click the link
* On the export page, choose the file type Microsoft Outlook (.csv), type in the code and click Export

* Save the file - it will be called “linkedin_connections_export_microsoft_outlook.csv” and will probably be put in your “Downloads” folder if you are running Windows
Saving your Outlook contacts to a csv file:
* Open Outlook
* In the File menu choose “Import and Export…”
* Choose “Export to a File” and click Next

* Choose “Comma Separated Values (.csv)” and click Next
* Choose the “Contacts” folder to export and click Next
* Choose the file location and click Next
* Choose the default action and click Finished

The file will be created and placed in the location you specified.
Note, the process is very similar for Outlook Express/Windows Mail and also for Entourage on a Mac
