How The JobGenie Got His Groove

Starting something new is always exciting… and being able to share what we are up to (finally) is also great.

We have been working away to bring 2Vouch from a cool (we think) idea to a working system that will help solve the recruiting problems that we have experienced when sourcing people for our clients. And. we know lots of other companies and recruiters have the same issues when they are looking for staff too.

As we have been out talking to people about what we are trying to do, quite a few of them wanted to know where the JobGenie came from… so here’s the story…

The core value of 2Vouch is that there is magic in the power of referrals and the ability of a network to find the right people, even if they are not actively looking.

We know from experience that employers respond very well to referrals to people who come with recommendations and we wanted to capture that magic in a way that is smart and easy to use.

We also needed to create a simple way of showing professionals how they can help their friends and colleagues advance their career and personally benefit from making referrals if we did most of the work for them.

The JobGenie was born from these ideas to serve the needs of employers, recruiters and professional members. He is friendly, smart and helpful…
